Final formal parade of the unit. Guard of Honour inspected by A/C WI Clements, AOC MAC.
All-ranks luncheon held at Anderson Square. A/C Clements as guest of honour read farewell speeches for CAS and AOC ADC.
Cocktail party held in Officers' Mess, Anderson Square, in the evening for squadron officers and guests.
Party held in Airmen's Lounge for all 2405 airmen and guests.

Final pay parade of the unit followed by an all-ranks party in the airmen's lounge.

All officers with exception of S/L MacDonald (CO), F/L Dale (SAO) and F/O Cameron stuck off strength.
All airmen and airwomen with the exception of one ClkAdm and one ClkAcc struck off strength.

2405 Squadron NCO's entertained at a dinner party in honour of S/L MacDonald and Mrs MacDonald. Sgt Clarke presented S/L and Mrs MacDonald with a gift on behalf of the NCO's and airmen.

Squadron entertained F/L Hannah (RSO) and Mrs Hannah at a farewell garden party held at the residence of S/L and Mrs MacDonald. F/L Hannah and Mrs Hannah were presented with a gift from the squadron. S/L and Mrs MacDonald were presented with a silver tray from the Squadron Officers.
