Standard Power Bldg & Std Radar Bldg
Gap Filler Radar Stations

The following drawings are herewith forwarded for review and use in preparing the electrical drawings for the Std Power Bldg and Std Radar Bldg.

GEEIA-ROZ-39This drawing shows the USAF design for the attached buildings for the old AN/FPS-18 equipment, which is being modified, however. It does show all of the equipment involved except the diesel generators and can be used as a general guide.
GEEIA-ROZ-1042
Sheet 1
The drawing shows the new USA design of the separated Radar building for the modified AN/FPS-18 equipment, which is being further modified. Panels A, B, C and D are to be supplied by RCAF.
GEEIA-ROZ-1042
Sheet 3
This drawing shows the new USA design of the control equipment which should not change.
GEEIA-ROZ-1028
Sheet 6
This drawing shows the proposed electrical circuits in the Radar building. Exhaust fan requirements are to be established by Eng-3-2.

For your information and guidance, a copy of the memoranda to ATSC/TSC-3-3 on 10-36-80/5 TD 0323 (JDPG) of 18 Nov 60 and to A/CCE on 949-5 (ATSC) of 30 Nov 60 in reply, are attached.

Contrary to design criteria outlined in Appendix "A" to 10-36-80/5 (JDPG) of 14 Oct 60 (on all Project Files), the emergency quarters will now be located in the end of the Radar building instead of the Power building, separated by a partial partition. The Power building will also be heated electrically instead of by oil fired furnace. The rainwater storage tank will be located under the Radar building instead of the Power building.
